Not sure if I want them to emulate one particular vintage sampler. I'd rather see them develope a universal vintage sampler like TAL Sampler.

Why not just get TAL-Sampler in that case? Since they tend to do Roland stuff, maybe it'll be a W-30 or S-760 for all the Prodigy/Roni Size/Hans Zimmer fans.

I already have TAL Sampler. There are things I like about it and there are things I like less about it. If only Maschine had its Resampler engine... Maybe D16 will make something similar, but in a different way.

I had the Roland S-330 for a short while and with Decimort 2 I can come close to its sound. Maybe D16 can add the final ingredients to nail that sound and that of other vintage samplers.
