Recorded automation in Bitwig is very low resolution relative to other DAWs like Cubase or Ableton---Bitwig simplifies approximate curves into a small number of nodes and lines, making recorded automation sound much worse most of the time. For example, I just tried using it with Waves Vocal Rider, and the recorded automation ends up being much too abrupt; it sounds terrible relative to using Vocal Rider without recording the automation.
Is there some setting I could change to fix this? I haven't found anything yet....
