Aha, thanks for that. In my case I'm using Mac OS, and opted for Migration Assistant (again), which in some cases seems to transpose licences without any problem. I don't think it's caused any issues... some plugins need reactivation and some also need reinstallation.i made the exactly same thread not too long ago.

Your thread worried me for a moment regarding Fabfilter, as I didn't deauthorise them on the old machine, but it doesn't appear to be a problem according to their website:
"You may install your purchased FabFilter plug-ins on multiple computers, as long as you are the only person to use those installed copies. You can just enter your own personal license key multiple times.
If you need to temporarily install your FabFilter plug-ins in a studio for e.g. a mixing session, you can use your personal license key as well. In this case, be sure to use the Help > Deauthorize command in the plug-in interface after the session to remove your license key again to ensure no one else will be using it."
