I watched the video, it could be due to the YT encoding but I found it too subtle, and imo achievable by using one's favourite EQ, compression and saturation...
And in the light of the Apollo windows issues, I think I will go with RME babyface, dual headphones out and MIDI which the Apollo does not have ! So I can plug my Roland TD17.
