Nope a real cheapskate would just use pirated and cracked software and pay nothing
A real cheapskate. Nice.
I own Omnisphere, UVI Falcon, HALion7, Cubase, Studio One, Komplete, and a bunch of other Audio Software that individually costs hundreds of dollars. I also have thousands of dollars worth of other Audio Software titles from Korg, Roland, Valhalla, Cherry Audio, Eventide, SSL, Arturia, and many many more
If I was a real cheapskate I wouldn't have spent thousands of dollars on the software that I already own, I would have cracked copies
Because I already own thousands of dollars worth of expensive world class software I don't need Myth. I can literally never buy any software ever again and be set for the rest of my life
I do however continue to buy audio software, and probably always will. That software however must fill a hole I have in either workflow or sonics.
At this point I have very few holes in my software collection from a sonic perspective. I can literally use any form of Synthesis possible to make any sound I can possibly imagine
So it comes down to workflow. When deciding on purchasing a new piece of software I will only buy it if it has a unique workflow that I think will benefit me. Myth does, so then I have to decide what that workflow enhancement is worth to me. At regular price it's not worth it for me at $75 it just barely is and at $50 it would be a no brainer
That doesn't make me a cheapskate, it just means I am experienced enough to know exactly what I want and will make my purchasing choices based on that experience.
