The PF has a different wiring system than regular black beauty three pup customs. As such it's three way switch operates like a standard three-way. One of the pots is a blend control for the middle pup. You'll get all the easy to use 2 pup tones and an additional tone if you want to blend in the mids. No loss, all gain
