If you want to argue your stand as you have, then as you have seen, I am fine arguing with you about it.
moved goalposts.

my 'stand' isnt what is under contention, its your hypocrisy in calling other people shills, then pretending that your call to 'support' the commercial product you identified from a going-bankrupt company couldnt possibly be a suggestion that anyone paid money for the commercial product you identified from a going-bankrupt company.
You tell me.
You et al seem pretty intent on trashing a synth and company and against your own best interests.
It's almost like this is not a music site.

Here's my referenced quote again. Read it properly:
Frankly, it sounds like some of you are shilling for industry, deliberately or otherwise. Are some of you on some payrolls we don't know about?

That there's this relatively-recent influx of closed-code proprietary physical modeling synths appearing on the market, incidentally, would seem scary to its devs if a similar free and open source project suddenly appeared. I wonder if or how much Vital cut into Serum's profits.

I don't have to remind you of how industry often operates, do I? ilok? Subscriptions? DAW-enclosures? Indie-dev buyouts? Consolidations?
