I used to use Reaper when I still worked with vocalists a lot. I could never make it work for creative music production, but the customisability was great for recording, where it reduced the need to mouse around while I was interacting with people. I think I'd still use it for that use case if needed. (Though I'd have to go through the effort of setting up all those custom actions and key mappings again!)
For the more basic recording I do these days, Bitwig is good enough, and I'm trying not to customise it too much and instead get used to the defaults, so that I don't feel too hampered when using Bitwig at a friend's, for example. (It can be limiting to be tied to your very own config, it makes your muscle memory less transferable.![:D]( "Very Happy")
