Typical Bitwig unfinished feature workaround.I finally found a workaround. I created an empty track called DI where I input my guitar. I mute this track and send it to the input on the track where I actually have the automation written in a muted audio clip. This way, I can record (in the DI track") and send it where the automation is read as I write it.
I will not bet much on it when I see how partially automation is implemented since so long. At least you can play with their "+++" modules...Last but not least, it’s not pretty straightforward. I hope Bitwig will read this message and give the opportunity to have this feature enabled by default.
