I actually have no problem with the look of Melda's generic plugins- I like simple and clean interfaces and don't think they look particularly ugly (those other interfaces though! ![:scared:]( "Scared")

But from a usability perspective, they really just don't work for me. So much stuff is just hidden behind menus, things you would hope to be on the main screen or even a tab are instead somewhere that opens up in its own window, and it becomes maddening trying to find stuff you would assume would be more readily accessible (not to mention trying to find something in particular when editing a preset).
I get that these plugins are deep and geared toward advanced users, but they can just be really tedious to use, which is a shame since they're so powerful. I wish every plugin developer realized how good it feels to use a plugin for the first time and be able to do what you want without thinking.
