Can’t imagine why as they don’t do anything besides code the emulator of a well used chip that runs the firmware, so no copyright issues, and all of these synths are out of production by their manufacturers. Long out in most cases.
In the case of Nintendo, they’re pretty litigious anyway, but when an emulator is running a leak of their biggest release of the year before it’s even out, it’s no surprise they lean on them, even if they may not have won a court case (on the Sony/Bleem precedent), if those they were suing were in a position to afford to defend themselves. I guess the closest equivalent would be Korg getting annoyed at someone who manages to get the Opsix etc running on Raspberry Pis and the bottom of those sales falling out.
