That's right. Most tools on the market today handle macro dynamics by either slowing down the release or lengthening the hold time. However, my method keeps the attack, release, and hold times fast, like a regular compressor, and uses lookahead to manage macro dynamics. I have always believed that lookahead is MIB's greatest advantage. Unlike analog gear that can only detect the current signal, it can see the future.
