I am looking at daws. samplers and bundles but may wait to pull the trigger... I could get another magazine subscription if it comes with alot of samples or other tools. Bitwig has good and bad points and I am trying out the 8 track version from computer magazine to see if it gives me less trouble than cakewalk with samplers and the automation looks interesting. Downside is that it looks time consuming to organize my vst's and it is easier to use if I had a larger screen and better eyes ![:)]( "Smile")
I think at the top of my list is a sound card. I have been thinking about getting a native instruments one but I could be talked into another one..
This year I paid $10 for some instrument, a disk drive and computer music magazine. I am on a budget but if I end up with money from it for some reason or the uranium market goes up I could up my budget a little bit.
