Funnny, because imho it's the other way round. Kick2 feels like a consumer tool, it has more features, good presets, builtin effects but the tweaking is just not very precise. Audija on the other hand feels like a professional tool. You don't have the extra stuff (for now), but the core feature allows precise adjustments, like moving notes on one axis only, setting phase, better zooming, time alignment, etc.i found the adja very inspiring. it was quick, things sounded good.
Then i finally took time and sat down with kick2. (should have donne that years bevore, but didn´t )
It´s the MUCH more matured SW, imho.
Adja is lik a baby. A fresh born.
i think i finally got a better sound out of kick2 after giving it it´s time.
But was way more fiddly. Less inspiring. More sorta a "technical work" rather than like "playing".
If you want to do synthesis only then kickdrum is the way to go imho.
